Electrical Testing
Airlite Technical Services has offers a full package for testing electrical systems after installation is complete to verify proper functioning of the system and to ensure that the performance meets the design intent.
The offered tests are divided into dead test which are done before power connection and live tests which are done with the permanent power connected.
1. Dead Testing
Dead testing is performed on the circuits when they are de-energized, and form the initial testing of the circuits. These tests will outline the insulation resistance of the new circuits, and the continuity of the ring circuits.
- Continuity of protective conductors

2. Live Cable Testing
Live testing is performed on the circuits after they are energized to measure the impedance of the earth fault loop and to check functionality of residual current devices. These tests identify how fast the circuit protection will operate.
